Ingredients

4 slices Gadoua® Moelleux Thick Sliced White Club Sandwich Bread
4 hotdogs
4 slices mozzarella or cheddar cheese slices
1 cup bread crumbs (add more if needed)
2-3 cups  cooking oil
4 skewers or kebab sticks

Ingredients

4 slices Gadoua® Moelleux Thick Sliced White Club Sandwich Bread
4 hotdogs
4 slices mozzarella or cheddar cheese slices
1 cup bread crumbs (add more if needed)
2-3 cups  cooking oil
4 skewers or kebab sticks

Instructions

1 Slice the crusts off all slices of bread.
2 Beat egg in a shallow bowl and set aside.
3 Place bread crumbs into another shallow bowl.
4 Roll out the bread until thin.
5 Brush the inner edges of all slices of bread with egg wash.
6 Place a piece of cheese in the center of the bread.
7 Place the hotdog on top of the cheese closest to the edge of the bread near you. If the hotdog is too long you can cut the edges to fit the slice of bread.
8 Roll the bread carefully to avoid it from breaking. Pinch the sides of the rolled bread to seal.
9 Dip the rolled bread in beaten egg then coat with bread crumbs.
10 Deep fry in a pot with enough oil at low-medium heat until golden (about 2-3 mins).
11 Remove from oil and set on paper towel to cool.
12 Skewer on bamboo sticks and serve with ketchup and mustard for dipping or drizzle onto the corn dogs before plating
13 Have fun with the toppings
