Juice from 1/2 lemon
2 tbsp. mayo
1 tbsp. grainy mustard (such as Creole)

Ingredients

Instructions

To make caramelized onions:

1 In a large skillet over medium heat, heat butter and olive oil.
2 Add onions, salt, pepper, thyme and bay leaf. Saute on medium heat for about 30 minutes or until onions are caramelized, . Stirring constantly.3.
3 Add broth, brown sugar, and balsamic vinegar. Stir with a spoon until sugar dissolves, and cook until liquid has evaporated, and onions are jammy and moist.
4 Lower the heat to very low, keep warm until ready to serve.

To make burgers:

1 In a large mixing bowl combine ground pork, breadcrumbs, garlic, lemon juice, mayo, mustard, egg.
2 Divide mixture into 6 equal portions and form them into patties. Make the burger patties’ diameters slightly larger than your slider buns as they will shrink a bit, and make a small divot in the middle so they stay flat after being cooked.
3 Oil grill and then pre-heat grill to medium-high heat. Add patties and cook for 4-5 minutes each side.
4 Toast Gadoua® Hamburger buns to your preference.

To assemble:

1 Place grilled patties over bottom bun, add lots of caramelized onions, and garnish it with fresh arugula leaves, cover with top bun and enjoy!
