Gadoua® French Toast with Mini Eggs

Ingredients
4 slices of Gadoua® bread, of your choice
2 eggs
2/3 cup milk
1 tbsp vanilla extract
Butter or oil, for cooking
Topping: Mini Eggs, to taste
Optional: maple syrup, fruit, whipped cream
Instructions
1. In a bowl, whisk the eggs with the milk and vanilla extract until smooth.
2. Roughly chop the Mini Eggs, keeping a few whole for decoration.
3. When the pan is hot, add a little butter or oil.
4. Dip the bread slices, one at a time, into the wet mixture. Let them soak for a few seconds, then transfer to the pan.
5. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes per side over medium-high heat, until golden brown.
6. Place one slice of French toast on a plate. Sprinkle one quarter of the Mini Eggs on top, cover with another warm slice, and add another quarter of the Mini Eggs.
7. Decorate to taste and serve.
